Pottery of Ningzhou
These products are handmade by the person who has passed on the intangible cultural heritage.
"Ningzhou" was one of the most important kilns for blue and white porcelain outside of Jingdezhen during the Ming Dynasty. The Ningzhou ceramics technique is a traditional technique that has been handed down since the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, and the natural raw-migrate glazes are fine, smooth, and richly colored.
The exquisite patterns on the surface of ceramics fired in a wood-fired kiln at 1,250 degrees Celsius using traditional techniques, combined with the soot and steam generated in the kiln, give them a texture that can only be achieved in a wood-fired kiln. On the other hand, those fired in gas kilns produce vivid colors and a unique finish reminiscent of peacocks.
Please enjoy the one-of-a-kind patterns and colors that emerge from the multiple layers of factors such as the ingredients of the materials unique to this region and the changing kiln environment, all backed up by the meticulous techniques used.

Notes on purchase
About the products
-We are trying to deliver colors and textures close to the real thing on the screen, but there may be errors in color due to differences in the monitor environment.
-The size, shape, color, and pattern may vary slightly, but this is a characteristic of handmade work. Kiln deformation, nuking (cracks like patterns on the surface), pinholes (small holes), iron powder (iron oxidized by firing to form black spots), and uneven glaze may appear, but these are part of the character and expression of the pottery.
If you are concerned about the above points, please refrain from purchasing this item.
